Michael Gallant

Michael Gallant is a seasoned executive, entrepreneur, and innovator in the events and hospitality industry with over 25 years of experience. As Chief Fun Officer at Perfect Parties USA, Michael leads the visionary and strategic operations of one of the nation’s most dynamic event rental companies.

Michael began his career as a DJ, driven by a love for entertainment and a relentless entrepreneurial spirit. What started with two moonwalks in the basement of his parents’ home evolved into a national operation boasting more than 500 rental items and three warehouse locations in Boston, Charlotte, and Fort Worth. His client base now spans the country, servicing corporate, college, municipal, and private events at scale.

A graduate of St. John’s Preparatory School and summa cum laude alumnus of Merrimack College with a degree in Business Management, Michael applies the same discipline and focus that fueled his 17-year speed skating career—including three Olympic trials in 1992, 1995, and 1998—to building and leading innovative businesses.

In 2008, Michael launched Dinner in the Sky, a groundbreaking aerial dining concept that lifts participants 180 feet in the air for an unforgettable culinary experience. He is also the founder of Artificial Ice Events, now the nation’s largest provider of synthetic ice rinks and winter-themed attractions. Furthering his legacy of innovation, Michael developed and brought to market the Stackbox Snow Tube Slide, a proprietary system using extruded aluminum rails and stacked shipping containers to create scalable indoor and outdoor snowtubing experiences.

Throughout his career, Michael  has contributed to a wide range of high-profile events. Memorable highlights include the Super Bowl in San Jose, the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, Draper Technologies Apollo Anniversary Event, Liberty Mutual’s Fenway Park Event, the Toyota International Sales Conference, the Winter Classic in Boston, the Staples Global Sales Conference, and his kids’ school Funday!

Michael has served as Vice President of Programs for the International Live Events Association (ILEA), formerly known as ISIS, and continues to mentor within the business community as a long-time Vistage member. He actively gives back through his Catholic church and enjoys sharing his entrepreneurial knowledge with emerging leaders.

When not leading Perfect Parties USA or his two hospitality venues that host over 500 events per year, Michael can be found barbecuing competitively—having competed in the final round of the SCA (Steak Cookoff Association) in Fort Worth, Texas—or spending time with his wife of 17 years, Brenda, their twin daughters, and son, Michael. A connoisseur of craft cocktails and a natural host, Michael brings passion, creativity, and hospitality to every aspect of his life and business.
